Hey Beauty Dolls, 

Have I got some goodies for you! I just recently (like literally a few hours ago) bought a new lippie from Mac. You guys, I’m in loooooovvveeee!! So I’m rocking their new liquid lipstick line the Retro Mattes. The shade I picked up was “Feels so Grand”. It’s a deep true red shade. Here’s a rundown of the specs. 

Packaging: 8/10

It’s similar to their standard bullet shaped lipstick bottles which is signature for Mac. Overall it’s nice. 

Scent: 8/10 

It doesn’t have a strong smell but it was a hint of vanilla to it. It’s not overpowering so I like. 

Application: 10/10

I love the applicator! It helped the product go one so smoothly and very precise. 

Opacity: 10/10

The color is sooo opaque I used one swipe on the top and bottom of my lips to get even coverage. 

Transfer proof?

 Yes! I love it! Finally a red lippie I can wear that doesn’t bleed or transfer. 

Comfortability: 10/10

I swear it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing anything! The formula is thin but opaque and not sticky or overly drying at all, even though it’s a matte! I’m in love with this formula! 

I’m normally a Colourpop girl when it comes to liquid lippies and they’re great for the price. Mac’s liquid lippies retail for $21 but for this formula, I wouldn’t mind splurging! They also just released a new collection with some very unique and promising shades. I have to buy more!
