Hey Beauty Dolls,

Okay so besides make-up clearly being a medical addiction for me, I have this thing for weave. It’s so amazing and so scary all at the same time. It seems like everybody and their mama is selling hair. Some people are selling legit bundles and others…. well they’re selling a bundle of something (inserts trash emoji here). I feel like there are so many terms and things to know about before buying hair that a lot of people get confused by. So lets start there.

There are a few different types of hair you can purchase. There’s beauty supply hair, human hair, virgin hair, mink hair, and raw hair. There are some terms that come up like “grade hair” which can be measured anywhere between 3A-9A (we’ll get more into this foolishness later). You can also purchase different hair origins and textures and different colors. You also have the option of buying bundles, lace closures, silk closures, lace frontals, frontal wigs, half wigs, 360 frontals, full lace wigs, clip-ins, you name it. It’s no wonder buying hair can be such a hit or miss mission!

I will be turning this into a series of posts entitled “Weave Been Wondering” talking about each category in it’s respects and getting down to the nitty gritty as well as I can without confusing you dolls.

Don’t fret Beauty Dolls, I will give you as much information as I can to help lesssen the burden and hopefully help weaves be sleeked and fleeked nationwide (tear).
